Yes, readers, 2006 is officially over. We've seen Brit and K-Fed end their fairytale romance, another year of war and survived another year of W rule.
In honor of 2007, a new resolution must be created. Last year, Friend Jeanne decided we should "Sparkle in 2006," which was a wonderful thing to shoot for. This year, I'm aiming to "Shine in 2007." How is this different from sparkling, you ask? Well, quite simply, it is just adding some polish to an existing foundation of a pretty darn good life. This polish will include trying new things (in fact, I've already watched that new Dirt show on FX--I'm off to a good start!), attempting to be fiscally responsible (think Clinton, not Bush), and keep my Inbox clean at work.
Wow. 2007 is going to be great!
